Cards Recognition Using Android
Klusoň, Martin ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavelková, Alena (advisor)
This work deals with design of an application for the mobile operating system Android. Application recognize playing cards and their values from image from camera device. Application helps to count points in game Rummy. Recognition is solved by a combination of three cascaded classifiers. Solutions based on keypoint detection and OCR proved useless. The application detects values of cards (excluding jokers), not their colors.

Marek, Lukáš ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of the whisp card game. The game is designed as a client-server application. Users connect to the server and have the opportunity to join an already established game or create your own game. The application is implemented in C++ using the Qt framework.
Library For Card Games On Mobile Devices
Hodek, Václav ; Rychnovský, Lukáš (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with a development of a library used for supporting card games on mobile devices and also brings some common suggestions that can be useful during the development and testing mobile applications. The library is designed to be supported by as many mobile devices as possible and to be supported by a desktop system as well since it can be very helpful especially for testing. The library is supposed to allow a developer to handle as many kinds of card games as possible.
Automation of "Hearthstone" Game
Zelníček, Filip ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is about computer card game called Hearthstone: Heroes fo Warcraft and about application of artificial intelligence in this game. Program knows how to deal with informations coming from game and how to evaluate them with a specific algorithm. After that it evaluate the data and gives to the player playing this game information what to do in the following step to win the game. In this scenario was reached really good results. It was tested against artificial intelligence in game and this program had winrate over 80\%. This thesis can serve as little help for begginers in Hearthstone, or as a manual how to play this game.

Second part of this work goes into details of implementation and testing of developed application. The conclusion presents possible future enhancements of the program and further aim of development.
Traiding Card Game with AI
Doležal, Josef ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a digital version of a card game Flesh and Blood . The element of the game is artificial intelligence which can play the game at a beginner level. The essential issue with creating the game and its artificial intelligence is the fact that the game is constantly expanding with new cards and rules. The thesis describes how could this progress be solved in such dynamic enviroment. The issue with expansion of the game is solved by encapsulated modules for each game element. This approach simplifies the addition of new cards and possible modification of rules. A possible solution for artificial intelligence is suitable adaptation of inputs. Artificial intelligence is realized by means of a neural network and taught by self play or with other networks. The output of the network is the selection of a suitable move, which takes place on the basis of information about the current state of the game. Therefore, it is important to effectively encode the current state of the game board.

Koudelková, Tereza ; Vlková, Veronika (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The Cosmic tarot is an author´s iteration of 78 tarot cards based on tarot used as a divinatory device, and attached game rules that enable a game for two players that uses cards as a main component. The work includes an interpretive book containing a manual for this set and explanations for individual cards. Format of the book is modified for use in the game. The resulting piece responds both to the pathos associated with tarot in our culture, as well as usual forms that can be seen in tarot. The card game made for this tarot iteration is used to establish a specific mood and experience between the players, which metaphorically quotes a form of communication between an expositor and an inquirer in the process of tarot seance - interpreting of the cards. Motives on the cards are inspired by the genre of fantasy and science fiction, particularly touching on a literary subgenre called science fantasy.
